You can consider a variety of places for your holiday tour every time. Going to the same old places cannot be a fun. There are several interesting and beautiful places in the United States that are worth visiting. So, this time think of going to Dallas, a beautiful city of Texas. Things to be done and places to be visited in this city are just innumerable.

After reaching Dallas, you enjoy visiting the Pioneer Plaza, Southfork Ranch, Dallas Museum of Art, Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, Meadows Museum and Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. There are certain other attractive places that will please you to the fullest. One such place is the Museum of Nature and Science. In the museum almost everything has been put on display. You can see solar system, the age of the dinosaurs, the evolution of the earth and many other scientific things in a very fun-filled manner. At the IMAX Theater, several videos and documentaries are showcased making the atmosphere livelier through its superb sound system. For your kids, this will be the best place to go.

Another must see place in Dallas is the Dallas Central Library. Here, be prepared to get astonished at the glimpse of several world famous books. For example, the original copy of the Declaration of Independence is found in it which was printed in 1776. One library which your kids may enjoy visiting is the Children Center of this library which is the biggest library in the whole country.

You can go to the Art Garden which contains statues of several French masters. Fort Worth Stockyards cattle market is the second-largest market in the world. In this place, you will like passing your time in several shops, saloons, night clubs and restaurants as the locals do. Other tours that you can opt for are Outdoor Sculpture Tour, the Morton H. Meyerson Tour and a tour of Mustangs Sculpture in Las Colinas etc. If you are in Dallas and you do not see the bronze monument of Pioneer Plaza, then your journey will be incomplete. It is the largest monument in the world among all those that are bronze made.

If you are an aqua baby like me, you would love to plunge into the lakes of Dallas. The lake areas of the city offer innumerable entertainment facilities such as sailing, fishing, hiking trails, canoeing, biking and sites for picnic along with some playgrounds.

The foods of this place also attract a lot of tourists. The famous restaurants found in Dallas are epicurean’s delight. Some of the restaurants in Dallas are Nana, The French Room, Abacus, Lola the Restaurant and Mansion on Turtle Creek Restaurant. You will probably find the foods in these fine restaurants more mouth-watering and delicious that others you have tried before.
