There are a number of them that would be suitable contenders for the title, especially in the wake of recent headlines and evening news reports. These areas are easily recognizable by the many window bars that keep homeowners safe in their homes, while taggers and gangbangers roam the streets.

The Los Angeles area is famous worldwide for all things related to the world of entertainment. With the Hollywood area establishing the film making industry in the early 1900s, much of the local area has developed around the idea of tourism. San Diego is one of the most popular vacation destinations in all of Southern California. There is a reason for this as the city not only offers a great many things to do, and a lifestyle there appeals to many travelers. It also is the recipient of some of the most beautiful weather on the entire West Coast of the United States. The city has a large number of popular attractions that visitors to the city flock to each year. Including the great many things to do at Balboa Park, the incredible amount of historical maritime attractions on the waterfront, and the outdoor recreational opportunities on the area beaches, San Diego has long been seen as a the kind of area that offers something for almost everyone who visits there. There is another reason that San Diego is popular with travelers though that has absolutely nothing to do with any of the attractions found within the city limits, and that is its proximity to the Mexican city Tijuana right across the United States-Mexico border.

Who would have thought that bird watching would be possible in this metropolis of urban buildings in Los Angeles? Well, to your surprise, there are places in Los Angeles that offer good places for avid bird watchers. The Arboretum is one, and it offers a great deal luscious flora and fauna set on a 127 acre area. Here you can find a good number of peafowl birds and peacocks that were initially brought in from India.

Home to Disneyland, as well as some spectacular convention centers and sports teams, Anaheim is one of the most vibrant cities in Orange County, California. Anaheim was founded by fifty German families in 1857, who named in Anaheim- "Home by the Santa Ana River." Anaheim is known for its aircraft parts, electronics and canned fruit industries. Walnuts, lemons and oranges are the major produces of the area. The Walt Disney Company is by far the largest employer in the city.
