Ah yes, the flashy signs, crazy nightlife, and twenty-four hour gambling can bring the addiction out of just about anyone. However, there are those people who do not actually go to Las Vegas strictly to gamble. If this is you, then enjoy the rest of this article because there are hundreds of things to do there besides possibly losing your money.

The Shopping

Anyone who loves to shop will get sucked into the Vegas atmosphere. The majority of the shopping is done within the hotels. While you can definitely find some places outside of the strip that offer good deals, you purchase something in the city and you better expect to pay for it. The great examples are the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian, Le Boulevard at Paris Las Vegas, Via Bellagio, and the Shoppes at Palazzo.

The Golf

Yes, if the ladies get the first dibs on the shopping, then the guys will probably want to know where golf courses are if they aren't gambling. However, you cannot miss the golf courses surrounding the Vegas area. It is a little ridiculous, but there are around 22 different courses you can have the chance to play. Whether it's expensive places like Bali Hai and Badlands, or simple traditional courses like Wild Horses and Black Mountain, we know you will have a great time.

The Nightlife

Hey, everyone wants to get their groove on at least one night while they are in Vegas. You can get a taste of the Ghostbar, VooDoo Lounge, or even the LAX. Then of course the ever so popular Moon & Playboy at the Palms. If intimacy is your choice of the evening then might I suggest the Tao at the Venetian. No matter if you try one or all of them in a single evening, the enjoyment will go unmatched by anything else there.

Everyone knows the whole, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" motto. However, that is usually for the nightlife people who just turn into someone else away from home. In the meantime, those daytime events are the ones to live for when you vacation out in Vegas. There are art galleries, Canyon flight lines, indoor go-karts, Titanic and Bodies exhibits, and more more activities that are available.

The Shows

When you head to Vegas you can never forget about the shows while you are there. This is where the magnificent ones come to shine, even if they did get there from a reality TV show. You will get a chance to feast your eyes on Cirque Du Soleil, Blue Man Group, Mamma Mia!, Stomp Out Loud, and so many more that I would not be able to list them all here. It is a can't miss treat for any age to enjoy.

It is amazing to think all of these activities are available in a place known for its gambling sensations. Granted, places like the Bellagio are fabulous sites to see, but it's the little things like shows, golf, and shopping that can bring a little of Vegas back home. Even if it is just a little secret wrapped up between you and everyone you vacation with while you are there.
